MI Glass's Guide is publishing two new manuals this month — ICME Manual — Commercial Vehicles, and Technical Service Data — Commercial Vehicles. They both cover light commercials up to 3.5 tonnes GVW and heavy commercials up to 16 tonnes GVW.
ICME Manual provides up to 480 separate repair operations for each of the 800 models in two standard layouts. Manufacturers' recommended labour times and service schedules are used covering a 10-year period when available.
Technical Service Data is a reference source for commercial vehicle servicing. Carderived vans and light commercials are shown in a separate section. The new heavy commercial vehicle format allows for both production and non standard options. Details are shown for 36 manufacturers with 750 models.
The 1987 edition of ICME Manual — Cars has been rewritten and the format for service schedules is now in accordance with manufacturers' layout. Repair Times list up to 530 separate operations for each model covering 1,850 models. Other vital information includes Conversion Factors, Dual Conversion Tables and Labour Cost Tables.
