the Powergen alternator. It can be fitted to the smallest van or car, and will power electric tools or an arc-welder.
It replaces the vehicle's original alternator, and does not affect the electrical system. It has three settings, run (normal) power tools and weld. Controlled by an electronic control box, the Powergen delivers
110v or 240v D/C 2.5kVA according to specification.
The arc welding uses electrodes up to 3.2mm (10swg), and there is a battery boost facility from the weld connections, which should allow the vehicle to be continuously restarted.
