Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The Quick Group has opened a purpose-built integrated bodybuilding and finishing facility, built at a cost of 2150,000, at its truck division at Moseley Road, Trafford Park, Manchester.

Body production has been streamlined into a single building — four existing bays plus a new three-bay extension making 672m2 (7,250sqft) in total.

The North's largest Iveco Ford dealer now has the capacity to build and paint most of its own vehicles and has increased the number of skilled bodybuilders and painters from 11 to 20.

The main technical installation is in the paint shop. Since Quicks uses ICI's hot-spray Autocolor mixing system, only two small separate rooms have been built to flame-proof standards for cleaning and solvent storage.

Apart from tankers and reefers, all types of rigids are built, mostly onto the Iveco Ford range but growing numbers onto other makes. The division has built a 13.2-tonne GVW Cargo for the Halle Orchestra and sees the custom vehicle market, notably horseboxes, as a profitable diversification.

Last year the truck division, controlled by director Alf Royle, sold 1,700 vehicles and serviced more than 13,000.
