MI Well over 100 Optare City Pacer and InterCity Pacer buses and coaches, built on Volkswagen turbo-dieselpowered LT55 chassis, have been sold since the models were introduced last year. Recent deliveries have included a 25-seat coach fitted with optional Allison four-speed automatic transmission to the Patrick Motor Museum in Birmingham and two fully softtrimmed buses fitted with a side-mounted Ratcliff wheelchair lift for Barnsley Metropolitan County Council social services department. Recently announced options include power steering and Chrysler Torque flute automatic transmission.
