• Lowfield Distribution has won a new contract from Campbell's UK to distribute its grocery products throughout Scotland.
The new business follows the recent deal whereby Lowfield distributes Delacre biscuits for Campbell's.
Lowfield will stock-hold Campbell's products at its Harthill, Lanarkshire depot. Expected volume from the contract will be around 1.25 million cases a year.
According to Campbell's distribution manager John Woodeson, the deal with Lowfield follows a decision by the company to streamline its Scottish distribution operation and go for bulk stock holding,
