pattern used with its 139 and B18 rangechange gearboxes by introducing a new gearchange pattern called Range-R. This system employs a means of switching range which is similar to the double Htype, by moving the gear lever laterally, but both high and low ranges share the same 11-gate.
Thus first gear in low range is in the same position as fifth (first gear in high range). Neutral is the only gear position which moves laterally from high to low range. A warning lamp tells the driver which range has been selected.
