Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TNT SAMEDAY, the door-todoor guaranteed immediate parcels delivery service, is opening 50 centres throughout Britain over the next three months to cater for the substantial demand for the service.

The centres are in National Express coach stations and will employ 400 drivers, radio despatchers, sales staff and managers.

The need for the expansion programme became clear when six trial centres in the Midlands area proved successful.

TNT Sameday provides sameday delivery of urgent goods and documents nationally. Collections made during the morning are delivered in the afternoon. National Express coaches transport small consignments on normal scheduled services, while Sameday's own fleet of 2,000 vehicles handles the larger packages.

"The National Express locations and services complemented our system and were exactly what we were looking for," lain Parsons, brand manager of sister company TNT Overnite told CM. The combination of private enterprise and nationalised industry has created one of the country's fastest growing parcel services.

The National Express coach network is used to link the various Sameday centres together. So consignments collected in London, for example, can be moved immediately to Birmingham for delivery within a matter of hours of the collection being made.
