SECURING adequate parking and pick-up points for coaches —that is one aim of a newly formed organisation representing the coach operators running tours of London.
The Central London Licensed Tour Operators (CLLTO) will also neg oti a te admission charges to places of interest, fight for free movement of coaches through London streets, consider regulations affecting foreign coaches, consider the policy about guidelectures and discuss with the Traffic Commissioners how psv regulations a n d licensing requirements can best be enforced.
CLLTO has been formed from 18 London members of the Confederation of British Road Passenger Transport and private-hire operators.
The chairman of CLLTO is Mr Jack Crawshaw, managing director of Evan Evans Tours, 1A Alfred Place, London WC1, 01-278 6462. The secretary is Mr Brian Coupland of Frames Tours, 21 Gold Street, Northampton, 0604-21061.
