A RECORD six women drivers took part in the West Yorks heat of the CMLDoY contest at Leeds but the overall winner was C. Reilly, winner of his class at the national finals last year.

Winners were: Class A: P. Forde, Ceiling Grids Ltd, 104 penalties, Class B: M. Stokes, North Eastern BRS, 78; Class C: J. Hayes, Esso, 120; Class D: R. Firbank, Shell, 100; Class E: B. Temple, National Carriers, 132.

Londonderry

CLASS winners and their wives were treated to dinner at a new hotel in Londonderry after the town held its heat in the CMLDoY contest. Overall winner was F. W. Moffett.

Tayside

A HOT and sunny day with strong winds was the scene forrn the Tayside heat of the CMLDoY contest when 41 competitors fought it out for the prizes. W. Milne was the overall winner.

Winners were: Class A: P. Warner, Scottish Telecommunications, 51 penalties; Class B: I. Donald, Scottish Telecommunications, 44; Class C: I. McCandless, British Oxygen, 62; Class D: W. Robertson, Shell, 108.
