Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Complementary to the Formula 1 metric range introduced last month by Taskers Trailers Ltd is a metric range of coil carrying semi-trailers. The range encompasses tandemaxle flat platform semi-trailers with aV-shaped coil-well that measures 3.2ft wide by 11.5in. deep and is fully braced with rolled steel I-beam sections. When not in use the well can be covered with removable plywood hatches reinforced with steel sections.

The main longitudinal members are constructed from fabricated I-beams 18in. deep x 6in. wide, with the I-section cross-bearers pierced through the main frame on the standard pitch.

The trailers have a standard 2ft-high headboard constructed from steel sections and infilled by a steel corrugated panel. There is a standard 2in. kingpin which is rigidly mounted in a solid steel block which is itself welded to the sub-frame. The vertical lift two-speed leg-gear is fitted with pressure pads.

Tandem running gear employed on the coil carrier is progressive, lubrication-free suspension with slipper-ended springs and axles located with radius rods. The brakes are operated by the three-line air pressure system and a multiple handbrake is fitted to the axle.

Other features include an under-run bumper designed and fabricated to meet current European regulations and expected UK requirements. A quick-release number plate and vertical rubber mud-flaps are fitted as standard.
