• Two companies with the same directors, had their licences reduced by 10 vehicles last week when they appeared under Section 69 before the Western LA in Bristol.
The two companies, G. and J. Jacobs Ltd and R. C. E. Hutton Ltd, both of Kingswood, Bristol, had a combined fleet authorization of 47 vehicles and nine trailers and were appearing before the LA as a result of GV9s placed on some of the 40 vehicles and six trailers in possession at the time of the GV9s late last year. Convictions for drivers' hours records infringements were also considered.
