Reduced Services
QINCE the beginning of this Year Devon ,s-.) General Bus Co. Ltd. had applied to reduce 22 services, mainly on Sundays.
The -Minister of Transport, who reported this in the Commons last week. added that of the 19 cases in which authority was granted, six involved withdrawal of all Sunday services and two withdrawal during the winter only. In the remaining 11 cases the frequency was • reduced.
Mr. Fraser noted that the Traffic Commissioners had refused two applications, one for withdrawal and the other for reduced frequency. The remaining application for the curtailment of a journey had not yet been decided.
