iT is reported that the Mansfield District Omnibus Co., Ltd., has provisionally accepted an offer from the Midland Counties Electric Supply Co., Ltd., for the purchase by that company of the whole of the issued share and loan capital of the Mansfield concern, together with the goodwill of its transport undertaking. The purchase price is to be £236,000, paid in cash.
The purchase will take effect as from January 1 last and the purchase price will carry interest at the rate of 5 per cent, until the date _of actual payment.
