MR. J. L. COLLYER and MR. H. L. KENWARD have joined the board of the India Tyre and Rubber Co„ Ltd.
At a meeting of the transport committee of Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, MR. R. V. EDWARDS was reelected chairman and MR. W. WINN
vice-chairman.
MR. F. A. HARRISON, who joined the Pyrene Co., Ltd., Brentford, in 1919, as advertising manager, and was later appointed sales manager, is now a director of the company. He is honorary secretary of the Incorporated Sales Managers' Association.
Mn. W, E. MACL-E, who for many years has been transport manager of the Bleachers' Association, Ltd., and is well known as an authority on transport matters, has been appointed assistant traffic manager of the Northern Ireland Road Transport Board. Until recently he was chairman of the Manchester division of the C.M.U.A., and he is a member of the national council, of that body.
SIR HERBERT MATTTIEWS, chairman of Fraser Trust, Ltd., is the new president of the Industrial Transport Association. He succeeds SIR PATRICK HANNON, M.P., who has been president since the inception of the Association 10 years ago. The following were
appointed vice-presidents :,-MEssas. J. CAIRNS (Glasgow), A. CUNLIFFE (Hull), W. OLDHAM (London), A. R. POLSON (Newcastle), C, HAMILTON SWANZY (Liverpool), and G. S. VICEARY (Edinburgh). The new chairman is MR. H. R. CAtTLFIELD-GILES, vice-president of the Traders Traffic Conference, whilst CAPT. C. F. Rorrais ,(Hovis, Ltd.) is vice-chairman.
