Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NORTHERN IRELAND operators should apply direct to their local testing station if their vehicles fall due for inspection.

For the duration of the strike by administrators of the testing system in Belfast (CM July 11), operators should apply in person at any of the 14 vehicle test stations outside Belfast. They should also bring a completed application form and fee.

According to the Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland, operators may make appointments, but on-the-spot tests will be carried out if applicants are prepared to wait.

The provincial centres which are open from 8.45am to 4pm, are at Armagh, Ballymena, Coleraine, Cookstown, Craigavon, Downpatrick, Enniskillen, Larne, Lisburn, Londonderry, Mallusk, Newry, Newtownards, and Omagh.
