THE SOLENT range of degreasing plant has been designed with energy and running cost savings in mind, says the manufacturer. The tanks are made in 18/8 stainle steel to give a longer life than galvanised mild steel tanks. Even the lip extraction duct is stainless steel and is polished enhance the appearance.
To conserve energy, the wh tank is lagged with 1in thick H mineral wool slab, then final!) skinned with British Steel Stelvetite (pvc coated steel). "The cladding is functional ye also aesthetic," says Solent.
It is claimed that standard trichloroethylene or other chlorinated solvents may be used safely and economically the Solent range of 12 differer models which can be heated I either gas, electric or steam.
All tanks are fitted with a water-cooled water separator standard.
