Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The first West Midland Advisory Panel for Motor Vehicle Courses was constituted at West Bromwich College of Commerce and Technology on July 1.

The constituted members are drawn from the Road Transport Industry Training Board, the Motor Agents Association, professional institutes, road transport and passenger services associations, individual companies, and members of the staff of the College.

The panel will review existing courses and propose and develop new courses to meet the requirements of industry. At the present time the training requirements of senior mechanics are under consideration and courses that may be considered as providing a refresher, or alternatively leading to qualifications in automobile engineering, are being developed.
