The high price is an issue with the operators we talked to but they also say that it's not such a problem when offset against low running costs and high residual values. Day-cab models are more readily available in the used market but they come with all types of bodies, from flats to tippers. The overall impression is that the Atego is slightly heavy but mechanically sound. Everyone seems to like the wide cab. Overall, it's a hefty investment in every sense, but still a sound one.
