• A bid for a new 15-vehicle licence by Harris Transport (Merthyr) was adjourned by South Wales LA John Mervyn Pugh (pictured) because of pending prosecutions for vehicle excise duty offences. Pugh warned that any fines and back duty must be paid in full.

Early expiration
• The duration of the licence held by MC Truck Rental of Maidstone was cut to expire at the end of March when the company appeared at an Eastbourne disciplinary inquiry
Decision confirmed
• The Transport Tribunal has upheld a decision by former North Western LA Martin Albu to revoke the licence held by Wrexham-based Steven Lewis.
Licence lost
• Robert Milne Leadbetter has had his restricted 0-licence revoked by South Eastern LA Brigadier Michael Turner. Vehicle examiner Alan Brand said that Leadbetter, operating as MIL Skips in Kent Street, Battle, had a prohibition issued for a string of defects and had not kept maintenance records.
