/ LEP Group, the international freight forwarder has expanded its European transport network by acquiring the West German transport and distribution company Wohlfarth Group for 29 million.

Wohlfarth operates nearly 1,000 vehicles from 33 locations and employs more than 1,500 people. It runs road/rail depots in Frankfurt, Cologne, Barcelona, Milan and Paris, specialises in engineering products and white goods, and has contracts with VolkswagenAudi and Mercedes-Benz.
