• Harrogate minibus operato Challenger, which was taken over by AJS Holdings after twt years of sharp competition, ha expanded into double-deckers.
Five coaches, two minibuset and two double-deckers have been added to Challenger's fleet, which now stands at 23, and additional garage accommodation has been sought. Four of the vehicles were bought from York-based Reynard Pullman, which has withdrawn from the area.
In addition to the town service in Harrogate, Challenger has won a number of contracts from North Yorkshire County Council
