• Managers at Nottinghamshire-based HDL Engineering have bought the company from Hillsdown Distribution.
Former general manager Paul Clarke is the new managing director and major shareholder. He is joined by Mike Gibbon, sales director, and Tony Potter, financial director.
The company, which has a turnover of more than .£4 million, plans to add three more CV repair workshops to its 12strong network in 1990. It is considering sites in west and south London, Leeds and Leicester. The only way we can get anywhere is to continue to buy businesses," says Clarke.
The firrn plans to buy a franchise dealership next year and to enter France in 1992.
