• An inter-nation satellite communications system for trucks is expected to be launched by Daf Trucks next year.

Leyland Dafs Dutch parent company is a leading member of a consortium developing a system to provide data communication by satellite, mobile radio and cellular radio.

Operators will be able to communicate direct with the driver throughout Europe, North Africa, the Near East and parts of the Middle East 24 hours a day.
