MO EUROPEAN Tram port Services is Britaii top road transport coi party, according to a st vey conducted by Mo Transport newspaper.
It has analysed the pi forrnance of 50 large tram port companies betwe 1982 and 1984, and I. ranked them according their turnover, pre-t profit, captial employ, pre-tax profit margin, sa per employee and pre-1 profit per employee.
On that basis, POE' — P&O's road transp holding group — con out top, ahead ofr Transport Developim Group, United Parce 'INT Road Freight a United Transport linen tional.
