EAST Anglian container repair and depot services company Port Container Services (PCS) has recruited Robin Smith to spearhead the formation of its new specialist engineering service division.
He joins Felixstowe-based PCS as operations manager with a substantial engineering background.
He served in the Army Air Corps for 15 years as a warrant officer involved in helicopter maintenance and held a variety of appointments, both in the UK and overseas. After leaving the army he worked with Lucas CAV as a machine tool engineer, with responsibility for quality engineering in the manufacture of a micro diesel-fuel injector.
He then moved into the service industry specialising in the repair and reconditioning of all types of valves and pumps.
