FINANCIAL interests of Shorrock Superchargers, Ltd., have been acquired by the Harry Ferguson group of companies and the premises of the concern have been removed front Preston to the Ferguson works at Fletchamstead Highway, Coventry.
The company's present range of superchargers for small oil engins will be extended to include units for engines of all sizes. The compressors are of the eccentric-drum type and are designed for fitting as original equipment.
SUPPLYING ICE CREAM ON SITE.
S1X different vehicles specially designed for selling ice cream to • large crowds at county shows, race meetings and other public functions are described in a booklet produced by T. Wall and Sons, Ltd.
The vehicles are the Commodore, a mobile sales and information unit based on an Austin 5-ton chassis, which carries live tents or six kiosks and a sales team of six; the Athenian. a mobile ice cream bar towed by an insulated van; the Supe‘seller, an articulated vehicle with a , Bedford . tractor; and the Commando and the ' Cruiser, bell] based on Austin 25-cwt. chassis an suitable for attending smaller functions.
The concern also has a ,Bedford articulated mobile cold store to keep kiosks and serving points supplied. it can carry 95,000 individual portions of ice cream.

A MOBILE unit is being operated by Messrs. P. G. Tyrer, Collins Buildings. Patcham By-pass, Brighton, 6,. as part of the .firm's specialized service for lit-el-injection equipment.
