• BRS Western has bought six vehicles from transport firm Luther Lewis of Drefach, which is part of the Today Super foods group, in six-year takeovercontract hire deal worth 258,000 a year.
BRS's Carmarthen depot is taking over the group's distribution and has brought in three extra trucks for the operation, which is the branch's biggest contract to date.
The vehicles, which display the Today livery, are four Leyland Roadrunners, a Mercedes 307D and a 1617. The BRS additional vehicles are a pair of new Leyland Freighter 1316s and a Mercedes 307D.
