Michael Birch, director of service, parts and accounts at Spartruks, has been appointed chairman of the council's' Parts and Service Managers' Council.
Two new dealer regional managers have been appointed by DAF. Tony Moon and David Beer are to cover the northern and southern territories respectively.
Responsible for the selection and appointment of DAF Truck dealers, both men will be concentrating on the development of the network and existing dealers within their territories.
Ivor Norton becomes deputy managing director of Scotts of Nottingham Ltd. Formerly financial director for the Scotts Group, Mr Norton is also the managing director of a subsidiary, W. J. B' oyes & Sons Ltd.
The Crystal Organisation has appointed three directors to its main board: J. M. Byers, J. P. S. Thomas and T. Watson.
Brian Cherry, general ma nager, Lex Tillotson hull, becomes north east regional manager of Lex Tillotson. He now has responsibility for the companies at Hull, Bradford and Newcastle upon Tyne. Ray Urwin has been appointed North East region sales manager.
Cliff Baker becomes the company's southern region manager with responsibility for the companies at Southampton and Swindon.
Peter Woolley has been appointed national accounts manager, Lex Tillotson Ltd, responsible for developing the national business of the Group. He was formerly general manager, Lex Tillotson, Bristol.
Quinton Hazel! has appointed Brian Winch as chief executive of the manufacturing and marketing division. He will work from the Leamington head office and will be responsible for the factories at Colwyn Bay, Lytham St Anne's and Redditch as well as home and export marketing operations at Nuneaton. York Trailers have appointed D. M. Moloney as regional sales manager — Ireland.
