SPEAKING at the a.g.m. of the Leyland Motor Corporation Ltd. on Tuesday, chairman Sir William Black said that on the commercial vehicle side the order books remained at a high, and indeed, record level.
But he expressed disappointment that commercial vehicles did not rank for special investment allowance concessions under the new Government proposals.
"We do not know what further shocks. if any, are in store for us in the coming Budget", added Sir William.
