Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LLARGE 6-ton containers are being used by Japanese hauliers in conjunction with an S.D. Freightlifter fork-lift truck to speed turn-round of vehicles. The containers are mounted directly on the vehicle chassis, to which they are secured by a simple latch.

The scheme was developed by Mr. A. Takamoto, of the Nippon Express Co., Ltd. A Freightlifter was delivered to the Wakayama branch of the con cern two months ago and container. were built to dimensions of 7 ft. 6 in wide and 10 ft. long. They wee mounted on castor wheels tcr facilitate loading at ground level.

The system eliminates the need for conventional vehicle bodywork. Upon one route on which a regular bulkdelivery service is undertaken, two journeys can now be made instead of one because of the cut in waiting time.
