r-IN March 6, London Transport will X./effect the biggest conversion from tram to trolleybus yet made in one day. The new routes are :—North Finchley to Holborn Circus, via Highgate ; North Finchley to Holborn Circus. via Wood Green ; Barnet to Moorgate and Barnet to Cricklewood.
The number of trolleybuses to be employed is 93, and the number of tram routes which will be withdrawn is eight.
