David Brown's Glasgow Office.

The Glasgow office of David Brown and Sons (Huddersfield), Ltd., the well-known maker of gears, will be at 29, St. Vincent Place from Monday next (February 28). MINISTER OPENS NEW BY-PASS.

On Tuesday, the Minister of Transport cut the tape spanning the last section of the Exeter By-pass, which is 4f miles long and makes a broad sweep around the south-east side of the city, thus enabling traffic on the Plymouth road to cross the River Exe without entering Exeter. It has cost about £250,000.

It is probable that the by-pass will be extended to join the London-Okehampton road, on the west side of Exeter.
