BRITISH ROAD SERVICES' membership services division is becoming a separate operating entity within the BRS group, under the command of director Gerry Simmons.
Stan Ward, manager of Datafreight, and a BRS employee of 10 years' standing, becomes the general manager of membership services, responsible for the day-to-day running of Transcard, AA/BRS Rescue, Prestel Datafreight, and the company's communications centre in Birmingham.
Mr Ward will be responsible for expanding the division which already has 13,000 registered members of Transcard, Rescue, and Datafreight.
