MR. H. TAYLOR, technical superintendent of Liverpool Transport Department, has been appointed deputy general manager and engineer of the Oldham Transport Department. . The appointment is subject to confirmation by the council on January 6.

Ma. C. DUNBAR has been appointed director of the Fighting Vehicles Research and Development Establishment in succession to MR. A. E. H. MASTERS, who is retiring from the public service.
MR. WARWICK M. DINGLEy, sales director of Stanley Works (Great Britain), Ltd., will be in charge of a European marketing organization which will handle all products of the Stanley factories in Great Britain, America and Germany.
MR. W. M. DRAVERS has been appointed chairman of the Gateshead and District Omnibus Co., the Tynemouth and District Transport Co.. Ltd., and Wakefield's Motors, Ltd., all subsidiary companies of the Northern General Transport Co., Ltd. He succeeds MR, W. T. JAMES, who has resigned from the boards of the subsidiaries but retains his chairmanship of Northern General. MR. T. V. Woons has been appointed to the boards of the Gateshead, Tynemouth and Wakefield companies_
