Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ONE NEW YORKER was a lucky trucker after he drove a 16-ton (US) dumper truck through the wall of a multistorey car park.

Driver Robert Legall was reported to have lost control of the truck on the third storey of a car park in Queens, crashing it through the wall and leaving half of it dangling high above traffic in the road below.

The emergency services tried to pull the vehicle back into the car park, as fire fighters attempted to free the trapped and injured Legall.

He was eventually freed by the driver of a cherry picker, who broke through the driver side window to pull him to safety.

It begs the question: exactly how big are US multi-storey car parks if a 16-ton truck can drive about them freely?
