• The authorisation on the licence held by Shrewsbury-based Sian Gore has been reduced to two vehicles, and the duration tut so that it now expires at the end of the year. The move followed West Midland Licensing Authority John Mervyn Pugh hearing financial evidence in private at a Birmingham public inquiry.
Mervyn Pugh said the main problem was one of finance and that he needed to see accounts. He wanted accounts for the year 1993/1994 when the renewal application was heard at a public inquiry. If those accounts showed there was not sufficient money to run the vehicles, Gore would not have a licence.
