• British Petroleum has opened a 25 million computerised tanker distribution terminal in Swansea for the delivery of bitumen to the South West and the Midlands.
Five of the 10 BP vehicles based there are new 38tonners, and terminal manager Tony Gutcher can call on a 17strong contractor fleet. He aims to deliver to customers within a day of receiving the order and within 30 minutes of the time they want it.
