• Nightfreight Group member company, Rainbow Nightfreight, has taken over Jobo Express to boost its coverage of the Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester area.
Operations director Andrew Rainbow says that the Jobo purchase is part of his plans to grow the business tenfold during the next two years, with an extensive sales and marketing programme, new vehicles, more staff and a new purposebuilt depot. "Nightfreight is Britain's fastest-growing nationwide premium freight carrier," claims Rainbow, "but until now we have been marking time in this part of the country. We think the new organisation in Stourport has the potential to become one of the most successful of Nightfreight's 23 UK bases."
Former TNT area sales manager Stuart Barr has been named as Nightfreight's managing director designate.
