The are being used to cope with additional traffic, most of which has come from the United States, and are scheduled to return to Scotland in November when they will be sold.
Doig has been CIE's main British contractor for several years, and shares operation of a weekly express service from Dublin to Glasgow with CIE. That service is to be doubled in frequency from next summer.
