Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FROM October 12-14, a commercialvehicle rally is to be held in Paris. Organized by two of the principal French bodies representing road transport interests, this is the third international rally to be held, and this year it will coincide with the Paris Show.

This event corresponds to the coach rally which takes place in Nice during May each year. The organizers, the Federation Nationale des Transports Routiers and the Groupement Syndical de la Carrosserie, emphasize that the contest is of a technical nature.

It is divided into two classes—goods and passenger vehicles. Previous rallies have contributed valuable information which has been collated by the judges and published as a paper. Above all, the competition is concerned with bodywork.

In the goods-vehicle class there will be a further sub-division and vehicles will be judged on driving cabs and on general features. • Points will be awarded for accessibility of the engine and other components, visibility, com fort, ma nceuvrability, etc. Similar considerations govern the judging of the passenger-vehicle class, in which entries will be divided further into categonies for city and other service buses, and long-distance and touring coaches.
