Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The body fitted to the 6-ton Dennis chassis which is illustrated on this page, was especially constructed to meet the particular requirements of 3. Shipstone and Sons, Ltd., Star Brewery, New Basford, Notts., the vehicle being intended for carrying malt from Beeston to the company's brewery.

As the main consideration-in this class of transport is that the malt should be kept quite dry, almost the whole of the roof is constructed of matchboarding, whilst the sides are of sheet aluminium. The sloping part of the roof at the rear is covered by a waterproof canvas sheet which is laced in position and extends to the hinged tailboard. This is supported, when lowered, by a chain at each side and also by a special prop which is brought into use when the tailboard is being used as a loading platform.

The usual method of loading is for the lorry to back 'under the hoist at the makings, where the sacks are lowered on to the tailboard and then man-handled into position in the body interior which, it should be added, has a capacity for dealing with 5f tons of malt.

This vehicle constitutes the twentieth Dennis supplied to Messrs. Shipstone during a period of 11 years, and in this particular instance the distinctive bodywork was built by Messrs. H. Street end Co., of Nottingham.
