In 1979 I was driving one of our family business's two removal vans. By the end of that Tory government I was MD of the firm, which had 70 trucks,100 trailers and three depots. The economy had gone from recession to strong growth. Her vision of fuelling the latent entrepreneurial spirit led to massive strides forward for us as a company and as a family, as well as the country in general.
