week's PSV issue (CM, April 18) always talk about how great all these buyouts are, and how efficient these new operators are. The truth is that these people are just filling up our town centres with even more OPO buses that hold things up for the rest of us while they wait for passengers to find their change.
What the people in charge of issuing licences should be asking for is proof that all these companies will use the European system of tickets bought from roadside machines, or only using season tickets. Then buses could provide a real service, and not just make traffic jams.
