Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CUSTOMARILY FAST • M&B Transport has been appointed as a Customs Clearance Agent.

The Higham Ferrers-based company is now official agent at the Northampton Customs Depot, one of the first in the country to make use of the new fully computerised Direct Trader input System.

This means that M&B will now be able to handle both its own and other companies customs clearance at Northampton, rather than at a docks, in as little as an hour.

For further information contact Grahame Butterworth on (0908) 618388.

AVOID PRICEY OVER-REACHING • I3T Rolatruc has launched a free service that calculates the number of reach trucks needed for a given handling task. The BT Compass computer program makes accurate calculations about an individual operator's truck requirements.

BT Rolatruc claims that over-equipping with just one extra reach truck could, over five years, cost an extra £130,000 taking running costs, driver's wages and depreciation into account. "Our own Series reach trucks have always been 30% more efficient than their nearest equivalent competitor," claims BT Rolatnic's marketing director John Roper. "The service now enables all operators, whatever make of truck they use, to check with our computer program to see if they could save money by running fewer trucks. It's as simple as that."

To make use of the free audit service, write to BT Rolatruc, Reach Truck Audit Department, Stirling Road, Slough, Berks SL1 4SY, or phone (0753) 30551.
