• The Knype 33-seat midicoach launched by PMT at the Blackpool Coach Rally last week (CM, 18 April), is going into operation with PMT's sister company, Paramount Leisure in the spring.
The 242,000 vehicle will be operated on mini-weekend breaks and short continental trips.
PMT chief engineer Tony Marsh says the Knype will be offered on 7.5-tonne to 10tonne chassis from Mercedes, Ford and Leyland. A 14-16 week delivery time is being quoted.
