• All the vehicles licensed to Latham Warehousing Ltd., Stratford Road (Birmingham) Transport Ltd., Sparkhill Motor Haulage Ltd., Latham Haulage Co. Ltd., and Brookes Freights Ltd., who had previously operated as a group were deleted from their licences under Section 177 by the West Midland LA, Mr. J. Else, last week.
As had been revealed at another application last January (CM January 24), these companies had ceased business and the vehicles had now been sold by auction. One company had been disposed of and was still operating, said Mr. N. Carless, acting for Mr. S. Fell, of the group. One company might apply to put vehicles back on the licence before it expired, he said.
