AN application to run a service from Birmingham to Glasgow has been made by Northern Roadways, Ltd. At present; the company can carry nethwards only those passengerswho possess a return ticket obtained in Glasgow.
Mr. Percy Shurmer, M.P. for the Spark brook division of Birmingham, is to present to the Minister of Transport a petition in support of the company which is being signed by people in Birmingham. One day last week, 4,250 signatures were appended when one of the Northern Roadways luxury coaches stood in Temple Row.
