MR. II. C. MALLErr is to relinquish the managing directorships of Vulcan Motors, Ltd., and Tilling-Stevens, Ltd., positions he has held for 14 years. The companies are being reorganized by the Rootes group. Mr. Mallett does not intend to leave the industry entirely. He started in it in 1919, as production manager of the General Vehicle Co., Birmingham, and has' been engaged in
ever since. He was a vice-president of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders for two consecutive years.
