Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AFTER my discharge from the Canadian Forces I was appointed warehouse foreman at the Calgary terminal of Canadian Freightways I remained there for six months and then decided to employ my post-war credits and war-service gratuities to purchase a halfinterest in a furniture-removals business, which had been established in 1919 by a man named Gayrier, after world war No 1.. We operate as a firm under the name of M. Gayner Cartage, and specialize in the carrying of pianos, Frigidaires and general household furniture We also pack and crate furniture, etc., for shipment via pool vehicles or local transport.

At present we have two vehicles, a 1937 Chevrolet 15-20-cwt. and a 1941 2-tonner of the same make. Each is equipped with a stake body., the larger having extension sides 7 ft. high, provided with hoops and a tarpaulin for bad weather and country trips. As soon as possible, we hope to buy a third vehicle and to replace those mentioned with new models. Two men are employed as helpers, also casual labour on the bigger jobs.

It is my intention, as soon as possible, to purchase the remaining interest in the .business and expand it.

I would like to know if any concern in England is building special piano-removal vehicles. Ours has been rebuilt so often that it creaks and, so far, no one here seems to have one to sell.

Thank you for many hours of interesting reading and for the useful articles in your journal.
