Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Monitak is a new in-cab computer, designed by Monit ronix Services, from Frome in Somerset. It is designed to monitor the tachograph and record the driver's activities.

The computer will log each period of driving time, other work, breaks and rest periods, for compliance with current EEC regulations.

Monitronix has designed the computer so that it can be linked to an office machine, so the information can be transferred to wage calculations and management reports.

The driver can check his driving hours allowances by questioning the computer. The information is presented on a 16-character display, and any potential infringement of hours regulations is highlighted by an audible and visual warning made before the infringement occurs.

For more information contact Monitronix on 0373 62994.
